Development resides in human capabilities, and those capabilities are often the product of educational development and learning opportunities. Faced with both teacher deficit and budgetary constrains, Ghana can benefit from more focused approached to deploying NSP in a manner that does addresses aspects of the twin challenges. In this module, NSP will be deployed to schools especially in remote areas across the country to support teaching and learning of the future generation.
In this module, NSPs are to be deployed to play the role of monitoring and inspection of educational activities in our schools and report to the Ministry of Education and the Ghana Education Service (GES). The primary objective to ensure that no class in our basic school system is left without at least a teacher, supervisor or a support staff to guide pupils in during school hours. It is by far better to have someone in the classroom guiding the activities of pupils than to have a daily routine of kids in school without teachers.
