MEET THE NSS BEST STAFF AWARD WINNER – “CHIEF” NYONATO ETSE

Mr Nyonato Kossi Etse is one of the long-standing staff of the national service Scheme with an impeccable record of dedication to duty, punctuality, professionalism and transparency.

As the storekeeper, he effectively dispenses his duties of keeping an inventory of all the Scheme’s resources, stocking and distributing all the needed resources in his keep in an equitable manner.

“Chief” as he is popularly known served as national service personnel with the Scheme in 1995 at the Papao Demonstration farms, one of the agricultural projects site of the Scheme.

He volunteered for two years after his mandatory service and by dint of hard work, he was offered permanent employment in 1999.

He continued to work at the Papao farms until 2007 when he was transferred to the NSS Head Office to take over the stores. This duty he has performed conscientiously to date.

He is jovial, polyglot and has good human relation skills.

In recognition of his commitment to work and long-standing service to the Scheme, Nyonato was awarded “Best Staff” at the maiden edition of the NSS Awards.

He received a tabletop refrigerator, citation and a medal of honour as award collateral.
